My Nightly Fellowship with the Celestial Angels and Saints of the Sacred Sound - An aspect of the Sleepwalker Notes. Dedicated to :ELDER BENSON IDONIJE

So, I was relaying the story that the great, gentle bearded one told me. I had almost forgotten about it because I got tied to many earthly things. In fact, I haven't been able to go beyond the lowest firmament lately. So, there was nothing to remind me of it. The bearded one told me of the days of the Big Apple and of John. That John the father was such a great influence. He told me about other cats he looked up to and how they helped to shape him into a Pharaoh. He told me about others in line. He told me about Albert. He told me about Olatunji Concert and the Afrocentric atmosphere in the land. Afterwards things got better, then worse, then better again. Life was good and challenging. He mentioned his eternal rescue for peace and tranquility in a turbulent world. He talked about spirituality and sublimeness. He was always close to his maker. He spoke of the years of rashness, of boisterousness and belligerence, and of exacerbations and exhilarations, especially on set. He remembered Hicks and Henderson. They came at different times. They played the sacred sounds from the black and white key tables. He remembered the favoured musical blocks of many appendages called " The Creator has a Master Plan, and the sweet, spirit-lifting meditative chant he was fond of. I was not surprised, because everyone loved it and was inspired by it. I remembered it too. I remembered "The power of God, The power of God, The power of God, The power of God". It was something of a cliff hanger, but one which gives a sure ascent and the thought of the majestic prowess and  greatness of the Supreme Spirit. Then he talked about the  glorious terrestrial end and the eventual ascension above the firmaments. He said it was a highly emotional setting on the platter of play. Though frail and feeble from earthly depreciation, he delivered his specials in sweet slow captivating serenade from the multiphonic instrument. It was enough, even perfect. Everyone shed a happy tear or two in a premonitory farewell. It was the last serenade on the great earthly platter before the ascent a month after. 

The gentle bearded one, the prophet, the saint and the spirit, told me his story. It was quite a story. I am glad I was the one chosen to hear it.

[4/30, 4:45 AM] Alaba Babalola: This makes the cut for a special edition of the nightly visit to the blessed Angels and Saints of the sacred sound. I'm writing it in retrospect of the visit of a few days ago.

As I approached the facade of the endless gateway out of the lower firmament, I saw the bearded saint who talked with me about cynicism. Knowing that he would repeat everything he said before, I decided to hurry on in my pace in the direction towards the courts of the prophet. Then I saw another white bearded one. He radiated an aura of spirituality and knowledge. He was old and attractive. He said "will you let me tell you my story". I want to hear someone sing or play an instrument, I responded. Then he said, "my story is full of music. "It is the story of my life in music" It sounded good and I was hopeful, but I wanted to see what was happening at the courts of the Saints. So, I stepped out of that enclave into the joyful place. The first person I saw was the bearded one with the musical story. I was shocked. I knew for sure he was not omnipresent, only the Great Spirit is. He was fast in the spirit to move from place to place in a split second, otherwise there was no other explanation. Though I said this to myself, I was still confused and desired a period of respite to ruminate such uncanny experience. Time was still for a while. I could feel it. It was though it went on a journey Then just as time came through,a voice called from the place of the joyful Spirits. I knew I had to heed it. My anxiety heightened when I saw the figure standing before me. He was the same bearded prophet who wanted to tell me his musical story. I realized he was not just a prophet, but also a Saint and an angel. A gentle personality he was. He was humble. This time he had his polyphonic wind instrument. He came closer and spoke into my ears " My name is Pharoah, I will tell you my story. It's a long, beautiful and lovely story, but no doubt challenging, and nevertheless happy" Pharaoh, you mean! I said. "No! Pharoah. He retorted. "Yes, I remember the great Pharaoh of the Sacred Sound", I said, as I bowed in respect to the blessed one. He told me his story from the end to the beginning. I wondered why it had to be that way. After hearing it, I realized how sweet it was, and how glorious to know the end from the beginning. The humble blessed one pointed to the big screen of firmament at a distance, and he said, "look" :

[4/26, 4:46 AM] Alaba Babalola: I arrived early. I pierced the firmament 72 minutes before everyone has to go back. The angel at the gate noticed my countenance. He could tell what I was thinking. He saw a drooping spirit. He said " you have a lot on your mind! I nodded and walked past him without a word. In my mind I knew I carried the thoughts of the previous night. Smiling at me, he put his "hand" in the air and waved it like he just didn't care. From that time I knew the gate keeper of that day was a rapper. I proceeded. I saw a group of saints on the right side. Further on I saw another group. These were angels with the "body language" of someone agitating for something or making supplications to the Grand Spirit. Well, I decided to do the Sanctus - to calm my nerves and to make a clarion call to announce my presence and bring the  groups and others  down the line together. I sang in Latin thus. SANCTUS, SANCTUS, SANCTUS DOMINUS DEUS SABAOTH, PLENI SUNT CAELI ET TERRA. GLORIA TUA. HOSANNA IN EXCELESIS. BENEDICTUS QUI VENIT IN NOMINE DOMINI HOSANNA IN EXCELSIS. It worked like magic. I was refreshed and the blessed ones formed the assembly. When I looked at the clock, we had 52 minutes. In my mind, I said, Glory be to the Great Spirit. Before I could say anything else, I saw the bearded spirit, the one that was talking with me about cynicism. He said things as if they were warnings to me. I knew they could be useful to other earthlings. So, I kept everything on my mind until I can use it.

Then I remembered that I had promised to see if I could find Eric. I looked among the Saints, he was not there. I looked among the angels, he was not there. I was surprised. My spirit told me to look for him among the order of prophets . Behold, he was there standing and talking with Elijah. He had many convoluted wind instruments tied around his waist. Then I thought, Razan would also be in this secret place. I judged by the sight of the instruments on Eric and others laying around on the puff of firmament. Before I would get lost in that place, I decided to step out in the open, at the place of assembly, to see if someone would play something. But it seemed all the blessed souls have been knocked out into deep sleep. It must have been the sound of the SANCTUS. It worked like a sedative.

I looked at the great clock. I counted 30 minutes. There was enough time for someone to do something. Just then I saw a little angel rose up, and then another from one corner, and then another from another corner. I counted 14 after a while. They started to sing. Can you guess what they sang? They sang the SANCTUS all over again, and again and again. All the other Angels and the  saint rose up to sing the same song. I was happy in the end because as we sang the glory of the Great Spirit came to fill up the place, including the space of the firmament beneath us. Then I counted 18 minutes on the clock. For the earthlings, I decided to record a session of the Great song in a chant. It sounded like this:

[4/26, 4:58 AM] Alaba Babalola: I heard it many times over. This was enough. It was satisfying to everyone. I was glad I sang it. Now they would sometimes ask me to do the honors. They would sometimes ask me to sing or play an instrument😍. What a great privilege 🎼🎧🎹🎼🎤🪘.

Well I decided to hear that great song again before the big saint drew the curtains in about 3 minutes.

[4/25, 4:47 AM] Alaba Babalola: This is the first in many days since I've been able to come among my brethren of the blessed realm. I longed for them and they longed for me, but they know the earthly things that kept me away. The good thing is they are never sad or mad for such misgivings. They great you with smiles and the sound of the blessed flute. Sometimes I can't quantify the provide I have to get the access. And my my recharge cards for data is always in the place from where I pick it up. Today I got in 30 minutes before the recess, now it's 20. I'm just too happy to be here. One saint talks about cynicism and the danger of it. I listened as I should, but not nearly as interested in the lovely sound that a kind angel was about to play. In my excitement and enthusiasm, I decided to multitask. I heard the talk and I will tell you later, but first I want to play the sweet sound for my earthly brethren. I can't wait, we have 13 minutes before the recess.

Though it would seem we have only. 7 minutes left, but that's only a mirage. You can hum all you want and all the Angels and the Saints would be at rest. They are humming too. I search the music pool to find humming songs, but I find none. So I rest like all the blessed Angels and Saints. I'm still conscious of time though. I know I would have had just a minute left right now. Anyway, I rest in compliance.

How about some prayers, I said. But one saint said, well you know if you sing or play an instrument, it means you play twice.

When I looked at the celestial clock, I see we have about 44 minutes before the saints go back in.

Well, one blessed Angel said "why don't you get on with it?" So, the saint who would do the honors stepped forward.....
